The purpose of our blog is to highlight the fruits of our labor here in Lake Jackson, but we have to also remember that we are part of a much bigger picture - the 40 Days for Life campaign that is happening in over 200 locations worldwide!
It is such an encouragement to read stories from other vigil sites as well, and the 40 Days for Life blog is a wonderful place to go and see the amazing work that God is doing through the prayer and fasting of Christians throughout the world!
Today in Severna Park, Maryland, for example, a women's clinic that provides abortions has CLOSED. This clinic was the target of Severna Park's 40 Days for Life campaign, and the prayer volunteers there were vigilant and God answered their prayers!
In El Paso, a nurse walked out of an abortion clinic and over to the 40 DFL volunteers and said, "Please help me find a new job!"
These are just a FEW of the stories of hearts that are changing and prayers that are answered - and think, it's only the FIRST WEEK!
