Who are we praying for? Entry #2

While most of the feedback from those passing by the vigil site is positive - lots of honks, waves, smiles and thumbs-up signs - there are the occasional negative responses.  These are people we need to pray for.  Anyone who would scowl, shake their head, or give a rude hand gesture when passing by our precious, smiling prayer volunteers, is in desperate need of our prayer.

I had two women give me disapproving looks while shaking their head when they passed me today.

 I was holding this sign:

How sad for someone to be offended or angered by such a profound, peaceful message of TRUTH!  In order for abortion to be ended, we have to pray for hearts to be softened and changed.

Father God,  today we just come to you with the request that you change hearts.  Lord we ask your healing and blessing on those who have bitterness and anger in their hearts over the issue of abortion.  Please let them see our volunteers not as a threat or as a source of judgement, but rather as a source of love, peace and joy.  May everyone who passes by our vigil site be open to our message - the message of LIFE!  We thank you, Lord, for the hearts you have already touched through this vigil and the miracles you have already worked. AMEN!
